One of the main doubts of people who begin to study in Spanish is about the gender of the words.

Oh, didn't you know? Sorry for the spoiler.

In Spanish nouns have a gender, this can be masculine or feminine. Recognizing the gender of the noun is very important, since the words that accompany the noun must match with the gender.

It is a fairly complicated subject and full of exceptions that can cause many headaches for students.

Generally words ending in -a are feminine and those ending in -o are masculine. However there are also exceptions. 😅

I know, it seems complicated, but here we leave you this video that will help you understand it.
